So Much Info!
For the past several days I have been introduced to a vast amount of tech information. For example, I never noticed how many blogspot.com addresses are within Google searches. Honestly a majority of my Google inquiries for the tagging assignment were blogspot.com links. I never realized the vast amount of info. available through blogs. Another, technology capability I was unaware of prior to this course is RSS feed, I mean, I'm able to have news important to me feed to me daily, what a great tool! However, while I've been enlightened by so much technology information I've also realized how many people don't how access to this important information let alone a computer. So for the last couple of days I've been pondering over the pros and cons of technology and, of course, tagging.

Yes Afrogirl! As public librarians, we need to talk more about the digital divide. This is what we're going to be dealing with in Philadelphia, and if our professors don't bring it up, it's up to us to do it. Here is a cool non-profit started here in Philly that works to empower mothers through teaching them IT. Your blog looks great!
